Introduction

Gentle exercise such as walking is a way of restoring strength and well being after a major

illness. If you are at all worried about how much exercise you should be taking then consult a medical practitioner. The following list of walks is meant to give ideas about what is available in and around the major towns of West Cornwall. The walks are easily accessible by private car or public transport.

You can start with a short walk to a local shop for the daily paper or a bottle of milk – and vary the walk to make it more interesting as you gather strength and stamina. Remember it is good to just get out of the house!
