Penwith Access and Rights of Way    (PAROW)

 Penwith Access and Rights of Way – this is a local community based organisation working with a wide range of partners including the West Cornwall Local Action Group and Cornwall Council to improve access to the countryside for both local people and visitors, with a particular interest in access to Penwith’s diverse collection of Ancient and Historic Sites. It also aims to help

encourage tourism for the benefit of local businesses and to offer people the opportunity to carry out practical conservation tasks.

A Circular Walk around the footpaths and bridleways of


6.5 miles

A Walk around Perranuthnoe using footpaths,bridleways and quiet lanes to see the beautiful countryside and coast.


 The walk starts from a small parking area alongside Marazion Cemetery. It follows and loops around the Parish of Perranuthnoe. It returns along the South West Coast Path and gives walkers the opportunity to enjoy Perranuthnoe’s lovely beach.


The walk follows a section of the Coast Path and has a number of stiles and gates, and is steep in places so requires a reasonable level of fitness to complete. The route is approximately 6 to 7miles long. There are toilets available during opening hours in the Car Park at Perranuthnoe and refreshments are available from the ‘Cabin’ close to Perranuthnoe beach. There is also a pub and a number of shops in Perranuthnoe village.
